Particular items can cause damage or injury whilst in transit and can jeopardise the safety of yourself and your possessions. In line with the Australian Dangerous Goods Legislation, Sievwright has compiled a list of dangerous goods, which we cannot accept for transport due to the risks involved.

FLAMMABLE LIQUID Petrol, paint, paint stripper, turpentine, methylated spirits, turpentine, cooking oil

FLAMMABLE SOLIDS Matches, magnesium, phosphorous, fire lighters

OXIDISING SUBSTANCES Calcium hypochlorite, ammonium nitrate, hydrogen peroxide

POISONOUS/TOXIC SUBSTANCES Pesticides, weed killers, photographic chemicals, arsenic

CORROSIVE SUBSTANCES Oxides, caustic soda, hydrochloric acid, sulphuric acid

MISCELLANEOUS Scuba tanks, gas cylinders, aerosol cans, explosive devices, bleach, pool chemicals
