After 35 years in our Surrey Hills property, my wife and I have had to move three times this year. Twice to rentals and finally to what we hope will be our last residence on the Mornington Peninsula. I was moving out of an apartment building with poor access and an unrealistic time allocation for the use of the loading bay.
Enrique, Santiago and Juan Pablo were amazing, carefully wrapping every piece of furniture, disassembling furniture for easy loading into the lift and then reassembling in my new home. Everything went extremely smooth and stress free for us. The Girls did a fantastic job with the packaging of all our goods and possessions and were extremely polite and friendly. The Boys were absolutely fantastic, dismantling our furniture, packaging it and loading all our goods on to the trucks. We know it was a huge job, being a two storey house we moved from, but nothing was too much trouble for them. All our large and heavy pot plants were carefully handled and arrived in Bendigo in perfect condition as did everything else. On arrival in Bendigo the Boys unloaded the trucks, reassembled our furniture in the designated areas without any problems.

I recently moved around Bayside Melbourne with The White Glove Mover. I had my two children aged 10 and 6 with me on the day. I was quite anxious about the kids getting in the way and also worried about keeping them entertained with so much going on. The boys were just amazing and even had the girls helping them load their toys onto the truck! They turned what could have been a stressful experience into a day my kids actually enjoyed! Nothing was too much trouble, they had lots of helpful suggestions along the way and worked so hard all day. They helped put together all our beds - the last time we moved the removalists didn't even have a screwdriver. The guys even shot some hoops with the kids in the yard once they unloaded the truck. White Glove Mover were amazing in every aspect. Tom and Sal our movers for the day, just provided the best service, extremely professional and went above and beyond. The move was completed in pouring rain and lightning, which added another element of difficulty to the day, but the guys just kept going, making sure everything was protected. I highly recommend WGM to anybody looking move.
We have used The White Glove Mover three times in less than four years. With every move, we have been very well looked after by both the moving team and the admin team.
In each case, the move has been complex. Jay helped us work out how much storage space we would need to rent, and developed a schedule for the various delivery points of our belongings.
Tom and his team were nothing short of spectacular with regard to moving bulky and very heavy items. The four-man team was careful, respectful, and absolutely expert in the way they handled all of our possessions. They went above and beyond to assist us - and were just so impressive.

I wanted to write to you personally and to advise that I was very, very happy with the Team of movers - Marco, Jake and Joel that I had when I moved into my brand new, beautiful home on Thursday 27th October.
The Team were polite, courteous and very obliging. I didn't have to worry about anything on the day. My anxiety was at a very high level in the morning, but Marco assured me that they would take care of everything for me. Which they did.
It was a big job with four destinations - Glen Waverley, Mulgrave, Sandringham Storage and then onto my new home. A big day, a big load and a very long day for all concerned. The Team worked tirelessly to get the job done, even working through the downpours of rain intermittently throughout the day.
They were very careful with my belongings and wrapped items in padded blankets and bubble wrap where required.
Lee, you have a very good Team and I would like you to pass on my sincere thanks and very best wishes to them. Everything went smoothly and believe it or not there were no breakages (due to my meticulous bubble wrapping two years ago during lock down) only one champagne flute that my brother Michael and I broke when we were putting it away into a cupboard!!!!

The two workers arrived exactly on time, worked tirelessly to fill a large truck and then delivered it to Mornington and stacked it meticulously so that we had a little more room. I just really want to commend the team yesterday. Moving from apartment to apartment is never easy and there are usually curve balls (like finding out the goods lift is out of order) but the team were pleasant, respectful and solution oriented the whole time. I felt safe and comfortable around them at all times and trusted my stuff was in good hands.
They interacted really respectfully with both building managements as well. (Can you tell I’ve had movers in the past who haven’t been all these things??!! ????)

Moved a few km only but access was very difficult at both ends (apartment with stairs to another apartment). The 3 guys who did the move were absolutely fantastic (Jake, Marcus and Christos). They sorted it all out and were super professional. Second time I’ve used them and would do again.

Every aspect of our engagement with White Glove Mover was excellent and very professional. General Manager Lee was our first point of contact. She stayed involved through every step of the process. She is a very good communicator and very well manages customer's desired level of interaction - in our case, the more the better. She was always there if we need any changes or further information - she always responded in a timely and friendly fashion. This continued through the quotation process, pre-pack, upload, delivery and unpack. Jay (the sales manager) came to our home to do a detailed assessment about how big the job was. My wife and I continued to cull and off load things that we either didn't need or had not used in years. Jay and Lee came to our home when we at the end of the cull, to reassess the volume of the removal. Danielle and two members of her team came to do the packing of all non-furniture items. They always came to us if there were questions about how things might best be done. They packed many boxes very professionally - in testament to this, there was not one item that was damaged at the completion of unpacking the myriad of boxes at our new home. Pablo and his five team mates did all of the heavy lifting and loading into the two big trucks. They checked with us about more fragile items such as number of antiques and explained how they would load and protect the items. They arrived at our new home on time at 10.30am on Thursday 14 January and worked very hard to rebuild beds, position furniture and the like. They happily moved many items to the lower floor. The team did a wonderful job and once again, there was not one bit of damage. They are a great team who communicated with us whenever they had questions or concerns. Lee and her wonderful teams of professional removalists must take real pride in a job done very well - especially in consideration of the very high pressures during the busiest time of the removal year. How impressed we were with The White Glove Movers! From the first time we called and spoke with Lee in July to discuss our forthcoming move, everything ran like clockwork. She was so helpful and informative. Lee handled everything with the efficiency and care that The White Glove Movers are renowned for. The removal team arrived just before the designated time, which was perfect. They were most helpful, cheerful and professional and discussed our preferences as to what we would like to move first. I highly recommend the services of White Glove Mover. Due to COVID-19, I’ve had to move out of my Melbourne apartment and put everything in storage (whilst being in NSW). Organising a move from another state and not being there to oversee the process is a little nerve racking, but WGM put my mind at ease every step of the way. We used the White Glove Movers to downsize from our family home during COVID. The communication before, during and after the move was exceptional. My elderly mother recently moved interstate to be closer to family and as luck would have it, it was in the middle of the pandemic. Words are inadequate to express my heartfelt thanks for the 6 man team who moved us on Saturday. Ably led by team leader George, everyone had a 'can do' attitude and NOTHING was too much trouble. Understandably I was anxious, stressed and clearly couldn't be in two places at once. I had a number of friends who actually spent more time with the team than I did as they were cleaning and still packing for me all morning. Everyone commented on how thoroughly professional and obliging everyone was. By the time they arrived my end, I was even more anxious as the new place seemed to be much smaller than I thought! Again, I was met with a calming, smiling George who made me feel like I had nothing to worry about! They were also extremely kind and understanding in regard to the needs of my disabled husband. As requested his bed and various other items went on last and therefore came off first. His transition was seamless.Those boys worked so hard all morning and through into the early afternoon. And as you would know, that final touch came when the ever calm (but exhausted) George offered to walk through each room with me to ensure I was happy. We have used The White Glove Mover on 2 occasions and they were faultless both times. The only finger I had to lift was to point to where the furniture needed to go. We recently moved our 12 person office using Sievwright The White Glove Mover. This move is the 10th move I have made with Sievwright and on every occasion, the service level was unparalleled and well beyond that offered by other movers I have used in the past. They will do exactly what you want them to do, being either the bare minimum or a complete pack up, move and unpack service. They are full of good suggestions and provide all packing materials (if you want them). The packing materials are clean, in good order and the supply is ample for your move.
The moving team are second to none. They have never damaged the items being moved or the properties they have moved me from or to. Any access or other problems are solved by the team who apply their knowledge and experience to come up with the most sensible answer. There is plenty of useful communication between the moving team and the customer, so you are always kept in the loop.
The office team are also great. Friendly, supportive and caring, they provide the perfect accompaniment to the moving teams.
It would be impossible to make any negative comment as their service, on every occasion, has been exemplary.
Jay provided super-professional insight, appraisal, support, and overview of our needs, and was terrific to deal with, and made the challenge altogether do-able! On move day, the team of Shane, Moses, Whare, Sean and Lachlan were simply wonderful - all great guys, who moved and grooved like grease lightening, always checking in with us on any queries, and for whom absolutely nothing was too much trouble, even when we changed our mind about item placement etc. Moving after 26 years from our home into an apartment and on the same day placing some items in storage was challenging in and of itself, but they were proactive, super efficient, insightful, practical (disassembling & reassembling computer, washing machine and dryer etc without a hiccup), and just delightful in how they dealt with some very trying circumstances. Pauline and Danielle who assisted with packing the day before the move were equally wonderful, with much practical wisdom and insight, in seeing how it would all unfold, and sparing no effort in safeguarding our precious items. We had been left in the lurch by another company ( who we since discovered have gone under) and called with a major challenge-72 hours to pack, move and store everything we owned before we flew out to live overseas. Lee was amazing from the first phone call- responded at ridiculous hours of the evening to emails and not only managed everything end to end but also us! She and the team ( packers and removalists) were professional, responsive and proactive- would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely use again-

Not one thing was broken or scratched in our massive move. Our lovely packer wrapped our kitchen up with care and our four efficient movers were careful with not only our endless boxes and furniture, but also with the houses we moved in and out of. Beds, boxes and drawers were expertly manoeuvred up u-shaped stairs.

This is the 4th time we have entrusted Sievwright's with our move. (This time in torrential rain!!).
What stands out is how consistently excellent each experience has been. The attention to detail is a trademark, as is going the extra mile. Lee and the team have always made a tough day a lot less stressful. They're the best!!
This was a recent move from Albert Park to Kew. I was somewhat in trepidation about moving because the last removalist I'd used had damaged five pieces of furniture and my fridge; in addition, some glass cabinet shelves had gone missing.
I developed confidence in Sievwright on contact with Jay, who visited to make a quote on removalist costs. My confidence increased further when the 'white glove ladies' packed my items; they were a delightful group of people, very appreciative of the stresses and strains of moving, and packed my items (including delicate china figurines and dinnerware) with the utmost of care.
The removalists on the day were great to work with; they were consultative (particularly with moving my pianola) and nothing was a problem for them. I am very impressed and would recommend Sievwright to anyone who has had negative prior experiences of moving.
On 12th November I moved home from a 4th floor apartment in Melbourne to South Gippsland, Victoria, a 2+ hour drive away using Sievwright, the white glove mover as my removalist company. I have used them in the past and been extremely happy with the job performed but they were even more impressive this time around. The staff were punctual, very courteous, and so, so professional. They were a really impressive and cohesive team.
The emptying of my apartment was not easy needing to use a lift but they had it down pat and had it emptied and truck loaded in record time. I had a road accident on the way to Gippsland but they were informed and when I eventually turned up at my new home they had everything in control. They made sure that furniture and boxes were in the required rooms. They even put shelving back together for me so I could get the office functioning quickly. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
Apart from my accident Sievwright made it a very smooth, stress free transition from old to new home, in a speedy, efficient manner. I highly recommend them.

White Glove supplied 2 x 60 cubic metre trucks and 4 men. They arrived on time, did the load up quickly and professionally, met us on site at the new house at the arranged time and moved everything in. Nothing was too much trouble, they even moved some of the old owners furniture around to make room for ours.
There was not one item that was broken or even scratched.

After my last removalist experience these guys were a breath of fresh air. They turned up on time, accessed the situation and were right into it. My antique furniture was handled with care and my confidence was restored in the removalist industry.

Re: Move from Balwyn North to the CBD

We wanted to write to you and pass on our sincere thanks for the excellent move that you arranged for us.
As we said when we met at our home, it is not the brand of organisation that makes a successful move but rather the actual crew on the day that ensures things go according to plan and schedule.
The three ladies that arrived on the Monday morning to do the packing were terrific and they continued in the same vane on Tuesday afternoon with the unpacking.
The actual removalists, headed up by Adam, arrived on time on Tuesday morning and all six of them were terric. Before we knew it the packed boxes were loaded onto one truck and then another was in the driveway being loaded with the household furniture.
Everything was moved with great care and consideration at both ends. We certainly appreciated the washing machine being disconnected and reconnected and also the fact that our bed was made up for us.
Every team member was very professional and courteous and they were true ambassadors for your company.
We would certainlty recommend Sievwrights to any of our family or friends.

The packing team was efficient, friendly and thorough. Both Sarah and Jill were delightful and did an amazing unpacking job also. It was wonderful to have so much help and I note that it was thoroughly worth the expense. We were close to being fully unpacked within 24 hours.
The moving team were also amazing with no job too hard. They were courteous, efficient and hard working. They had three trucks full packed within 4 hours.
I would have no hesitation in recommending you to others intending to move. We will contact you in approximately 18 months for the next move.
